Dev Hynes is a genius. And as long he keeps reminding of Prince under his Blood Orange moniker, I’ll be a fan for life! He gets his hands on Flo’s “Never Let Me Go,” a tune from 2011′s “Ceremonials”, and reworks it… with two snaps and neck twist baby!!! Hopefully these two get more going tomorrow, since they seem to already be hip of each other. Big up MTV Hive.
This is a wonderful time for indie underground hip-hop lovers, as highly praised Brooklyn lyricist and producer El-P returns with his first solo effort in over five years! Of course the electrifying album has a lot of sick features on it, including the highlighted Danny Brown and Mr. Muthafuckin’ eXquire jam, as well as Nick diamonds, Despot, Killer Mike and more.
